Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Maz Vantage (mazvantage.com), run by a private individual based in France (“we”). By using the site, or by creating an account, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

Who we are is set out in the legal notice. How we handle personal data is described in the privacy policy and the cookie policy. The investment disclaimer is part of these terms.

Maz Vantage is an equity research tool. It shows market data, financial figures, ratings and scores (including the Maz Rating), screeners, investment ideas and articles. Most of it is free and open without an account; some features, such as the watchlist and Maz Ratings in the advanced screener, need a free account. We may change, add or remove features at any time.

Nothing on Maz Vantage is investment, financial, tax or legal advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security. Ratings, scores, labels such as “Buy” or “Strong Buy”, fair values and screens are produced by automated models from published data. They do not take into account your objectives, financial situation or needs.

Investing involves risk, including the loss of capital. Past performance does not predict future results. Check anything you intend to act on against primary sources (company filings) and, if needed, consult a licensed adviser. You are solely responsible for your investment decisions. How the ratings are produced, their limits and our conflicts of interest are set out in the investment disclaimer.

Market data and financial figures come from Financial Modeling Prep. Quotes may be delayed. We take care in presenting data, but we do not guarantee that it is accurate, complete or up to date, and models can be wrong. Errors can be reported to privacy@mazvantage.com.

• You must be at least 15 years old to create an account.
• Give a valid email address and keep your password secret; you are responsible for activity on your account.
• Tell us at privacy@mazvantage.com if you think your account has been used without your permission.
• You can delete your account at any time from your profile.

You agree not to:

• scrape, bulk-download, copy or resell the data, ratings or content, or use them to build a competing database;
• access the service by automated means beyond normal browsing, or try to bypass its rate limits or access controls;
• interfere with, overload or attempt to break into the service or its infrastructure;
• use the service for anything unlawful, or to mislead others about securities.

We may limit, suspend or close access that breaks these rules.

The Maz Vantage name and logo, the site design, its texts, the Maz Rating methodology and its results belong to us or to our licensors. Market data remains the property of its providers. You may use the service for your own personal research and share individual pages by link, but not reproduce or redistribute its content otherwise without our written permission.

The site links to investor letters, research and other publications on third-party sites. Their titles and contents belong to their authors; we only list them and link to them, and we are not responsible for those sites. Videos and charts embedded in articles come from the services that host them.

If you hold rights to a publication and want it removed from the site, or if you see content you believe is unlawful, write to privacy@mazvantage.com; we act promptly on well-founded requests.

We try to keep the service available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may interrupt it for maintenance or for reasons outside our control.

The service is provided free of charge, as is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss resulting from investment decisions, from reliance on the data, ratings or content, or from the unavailability of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may close an account that breaks these terms, after notice where reasonable, or stop the service altogether.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. For a significant change we will tell account holders before it applies; continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept the new terms.

These terms are governed by French law. Before any legal action, please contact us at privacy@mazvantage.com so we can try to resolve the issue amicably. Failing that, the competent French courts have jurisdiction, subject to the mandatory rules that protect consumers in their country of residence.
