How the Maz Rating is calculated
Step 1
Rank every financial ratio against all stocks in the same sector and convert it to a percentile.
Step 2
Combine ratios into five factors, Valuation, Growth, Profitability, Financial Health and Momentum, and re-rank each factor within the sector.
Step 3
Weight the factors (Momentum counts double), re-rank the composite and map it to a score from 1 to 5 and a Sell → Strong Buy label.
